Refund and cancellation policy
Version 2026-09-21 · in force from 21 September 2026 · Anvesan, India
1.Scope
1.1
This policy governs the cancellation of, and refunds in respect of, Atlas Pro and Sherpa Intelligence. It forms part of the terms of service at /terms, and a term defined there has the same meaning in this policy.
1.2
This policy applies to every payment for a service, whether made by card, by bank transfer or against an invoice.
2.Cancellation
2.1
A subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled (clause 5 of the terms of service).
2.2
A subscription may be cancelled at any time, by email to research@anvesan.org from the account email address or, for Sherpa Intelligence, from the email address given to Razorpay at payment. No reason is required.
2.3
Cancellation takes effect on the expiry of the term in which the notice is received. Access continues until that expiry, and no charge is taken for a later term.
2.4
A charge taken for a term beginning after the notice was received is refunded in full.
2.5
The expiry date of an Atlas Pro term is displayed on the account page.
3.Unexpired terms
3.1
No refund is made in respect of the unexpired part of a term on cancellation.
3.2
No refund is made in respect of a seat removed before the expiry of a term. The seat continues until that expiry.
4.The trial
4.1
The trial fee is charged once and is not refundable after the trial has commenced. The trial commences when payment is received and the seat is activated.
4.2
The trial does not renew.
5.Duplicate and erroneous charges
5.1
A payment taken twice for the same term, or taken in error, is refunded in full to the payment method from which it was made.
5.2
A request is to be made under clause 8, quoting the payment identifier. The refund is issued within ten business days of receipt of the request.
6.Service failure
6.1
Where a service is unavailable for more than fourteen consecutive days for a cause within Anvesan's control, you may request a refund of the fee for the unexpired part of the term, calculated pro rata by day.
6.2
Unavailability attributable to your network or equipment, or to a cause outside Anvesan's control, is disregarded for the purposes of this clause.
7.Method of refund
7.1
A refund is made by the method by which the payment was received. A card refund is issued through Razorpay to the card charged, and may take five to ten business days to appear on the cardholder's statement. A bank transfer is returned to the account from which it was received.
8.Requests
8.1
A request under this policy is to be addressed to research@anvesan.org, stating the account email address and the payment identifier.
8.2
This policy is version 2026-09-21, in force from 21 September 2026.
